XD Data Strategists are as analytical as they are collaborative. They have a strong background in digital analytics and experience using data to build narratives that highlight and contextualize business and customer opportunities. They are also passionate about coaching non-analytical thinkers to vet their concepts against what is known about target audience and business needs, and developing approaches to root decision-making in data. These individuals are accustomed to analyzing multiple sources of information and using data to highlight business opportunities, understand behaviors, inform product vision, and measure performance.
XD Data Strategists play a critical role in Ogilvy’s measurable, human-centered approach for creating experiences. They will lead development and execution of comprehensive data-driven and measurement strategies across a range of digital experiences, products, and platforms. The Data Strategist will work closely with clients to understand their business objectives and customer needs to define project goals, establish key performance indicators (KPIs), identify and size business opportunities, and develop an approach for ongoing measurement. This role will also work in deep partnership with our design, research and technology teams to ensure that data is used throughout the design process to inform decision-making and hold solutions accountable for delivering on real business outcomes.
